Logged-On Library: Rosetta Stone
While the Rochelle Park Library is closed for our remodel, we will be sharing some tips and tricks to accessing the digital services available to you thanks to your BCCLS library card.
To get started with Rosetta Stone, a popular program dedicated to learning new languages, you’ll want to go to the Rochelle Park Library website, open the “Services” tab, and select “Research Assistance.”
The “Research Assistance” page is where you can find any of the online resources made available to you through JerseyClicks, a service offered by the New Jersey State Library to help library patrons access a variety of online materials.
To open Rosetta Stone, scroll down and click on the Rosetta Stone link in the list of JerseyClicks resources.
To log in to Rosetta Stone, you first enter your library card number when prompted. Then, select the “Rosetta Stone Library Solution” link on the following screen.
To use Rosetta Stone, you will first need to create an account. Enter your e-mail address and a password, then choose the language you’d like to learn.
Note: Even though Rosetta Stone is hosted by EBSCOhost, you will need to create a separate account just for use with the Rosetta Stone software.
Once you’ve created your account, you can select “Launch Rosetta Stone ® Language Lessons Version 3” in order to get started.
After selecting the voice that most closely matches yours, selecting the language you’d like to learn and the level at which you’d like to start, as well as choosing your course length, you can begin your Rosetta Stone course!
